Where: Olympic  Park of Barra da Tijuca, Arena I
How to get there: it is the “Official” Olympics complex, located in the West Zone of the City, the upscale neighborhood Barra da Tijuca, bus, subway line is on expansion
When: the final will be disputed  at 21th August, at 15:45
What to see:  winner of 14 of the 18 editions, the American Dream Team is the favorite to be on the finals

Football - Olympic games in Rio

Where: Maracanã Stadium
When: the final will take place at August, 20th, at 17:30h
What to see: Brazil, the host, never won a Gold Medal and after the 2014 World Cup fiasco will fight for it.

Where:  Olympic  Park of Barra da Tijuca
When: 6th August to 13th August
What to see: Brazilian world recordist star Cesar Cielo and a possible presence of the legendary Michael Phelps

Tennis - Olympic games in Rio

Where: Olympic  Park of Barra da Tijuca, Tennis Center
When: Female final , 13th August during 12h to 20h. Male final, the 14th August, during 12 h to 20h.
What to see: Roger Federer,Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and the uber top Serena Williams, the tournament will be disputed hard.
How to get there:   located in the West Zone of the City, bus, subway line is on expansion

Athletics / Track and Field - Olympic games in Rio

Where: Olympic Stadium João Havelange, known as Engenhão
When: First final, August 14th, beginning at 20:15, the 18th, beginning at 18:35, the 19th beginning at 20:10
What to see: it promises to be one of the most exciting disputes, with names as Usain Bolt and Yelena Isinbayeva.
How to get there: 425, José dos Reis Street, Botafogo

Marathon - Olympic games in Rio

When: starting from 09:30, with route passing through Sambódromo and another iconic city points.
What to see: one of the most traditional disputes in the Olympics, you can take a look by free, while enjoying the landscape.
How to get there: depending of where do you want to see, metro/bus available

Volleyball - Olympic games in Rio

Where: Maracanazinho
When:  Women final at 20th August, at 22:15 Men final at August, 21th, at 13:15
What to see: the traditional teams of Italy, US., Cuba, Japan, China and Brazil.

Gymnastics - Olympic games in Rio

Where: Olympic  Park of Barra da Tijuca
When: check the official schedule on the webpage of the Games
What to see: Gymnastics is one of the most watched competitions in all Olympics Games, due its plasticity. The local competitor, Arthur Zanette, gold medal in 2012, is a good bet to the men's winner.

Beach Volley - Olympic games in Rio

Where: Copacabana Beach
When: tournament from 6th August to 18th August
What to see: Beautiful tanned players, the traditional Brazilian team (both Men/Women) but the most important, the Copacabana Beach, the best scene to the competition take place
How to get there: if you are in the South Neighborhood (Zona Sul) you can use the subway- Siqueira Campos Station. If you are in Barra, bus is needed.
